Anderson Instrument Company has worked with IMC to create applications that have helped reduce the number of calls to customer service by automating some processes and providing Anderson's customer service representatives with the time to work with customers who need to talk to a representative about their particular custom applications. For the Empire State College Center for Mentoring & Learning, IMC started with a stock Drupal install, but added a number of features to customize it for CML's use. Most notably, IMC created an annotated bibliography that allows users to submit items, comment on exsiting items, and save their favorite items. Administrators can monitor submissions, approving them to go live on the website after an appropriate review. The administration module is tied directly into Drupal, so the site administrators work from a single control panel.
